We spent a week in Spiddal Cottage. The location suited us very well, it is half an hour from Galway with and on the doorstep of all Connemara has to offer. It is walking distance to the village. The house is spotless with a very well equipped kitcheplus
We spent a week in Spiddal Cottage. The location suited us very well, it is half an hour from Galway with and on the doorstep of all Connemara has to offer. It is walking distance to the village. The house is spotless with a very well equipped kitchen. Patsy , the owner, was very welcoming with milk in the fridge so that we could have a cuppa when we arrived and a generous fruit bowl to keep us healthy during our stay. I would recommend.

We were staying before our son's wedding and I was baking the wedding cake in the cottage. The oven in the cottage is superb and just what I needed. The cottage itself was great with all the amenities we needed and the host was incredibly kind. Thankplus
